SolidWorks modelling

Ludowici Plastics Ltd. has the capability to mould an extremely wide range of engineering plastics. They include complex formulations which are blended in-house by company industrial chemists, through to the more traditional moulding resins. Each material is supported by full technical back-up from Ludowici Plastics Ltd., either in-house or through our overseas principals. Materials used for injection-moulding include:- Nylon-6, filled nylons, acetal, polypropylene, flexible PVC, styrenes, rynite, polyethylenes, thermoplastic rubbers (TPR), thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU), santoprene, reflex, hytrel, polycarbonates, liquid crystal polymers (LCP), acrylics, polyester elastomers and UHMWPE. Other high performance materials which may be required for specific applications are sourced from either local or international suppliers.

Materials

Lurethane

Castable polyurethane pioneered by Ludowici Ltd.

ABS

Acrylonitrate Butandiene styrene.

Fluorosint

Flurosint is composed of PTFE and a synthetic mica filler.

X-Lube bushes

X-Lube bushes are made from a self-lubricating nylon material.
