Ludowici Plastics was formed Jan 1st 2000. Prior to this the company traded as Ceelon Plastics Ltd and Ludowici NZ Ltd. Before 1990, the company also traded as J C Ludowici NZ Ltd and Addington Engineering Ltd. Ludowici has been actively involved in the New Zealand market since the 1970’s, however was first established in 1858 and hence making it one the oldest companys in Australasia at over 140 years old

Ludowici Plastics is a manufacturer, importer and distributor of a range of non metallic solutions to industry, utilising plastic, rubber and polyurethane as the predominate materials. Its product range includes plastic injection moulded products, polyurethane elastomers, rubber mouldings and extrusions, hydraulic seals, industrial ceramics, O-rings and engineering plastic materials. Ludowici Plastics can provide both "off the shelf" solutions, as well designing, building custom make solutions.

Both of these machine shops are staffed with highly skilled tradespeople who are able to machine most plastic components using a variety of machine tools [CNC & conventional lathes, mills, routers, spindle moulders etc]. The Christchurch workshop also machines metals, such as stainless steel, brass, aluminium and steel.
